Founder’s Note
I’m Rohit Panikar, the founder of Maria CNC Institute and the owner of Maria Engineering Works. With over a decade of hands-on experience in CNC programming and machining, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with both turning and milling operations—starting from the shop floor and growing into business ownership.
My journey has been shaped by machines, challenges, and constant learning. What I’ve realized over the years is that no classroom can replace the value of real, practical exposure. That’s the core idea behind Maria CNC Institute—to provide students with skill-based, industry-relevant training that goes beyond theory.
At the institute, we focus on building confidence through hands-on practice, helping students understand not just how machines work—but why they matter.
